Philosophy
A Global Perspective on the Local Impression

Books that line up along shelves. Computers arranged on every floor. Influxes of bodies move across flights of stairs. From the attitudes and feelings that accompany a place to the way in which people socially organize themselves spatially, local interactions with the built environment has meant global connections. If any place is connected to the world, it is the library; for it exemplifies how access to technology, maps, books and information ties individuals from one particular location to others seamlessly in unpredictable ways.

It’s wish-washy trumpery.

Philosophy
Debating in a logical manner

I’ve been musing quite considerably lately about political ideologies—those organized belief systems which seem to pervade nearly every individual on the Right and Left. What differs political ideologies from say, moderatism, is that they are systematically arranged based on several philosophical underpinnings, usually concerning human behavior, economic justice, fairness, equality, and religion. Generally, the more politically involved an individual is, the more defined and pronounced their political ideology—although there exist a small minority of political involved individuals who seek completely unbiased ends, such as the increase of their own wealth and nothing else.
